The MAX2 offers versatile modes for creative photography and videography. Shoot 29MP still 360 photos with the option to crop, zoom, and reframe. Super Slo-Mo records UHD 4K100 video at 3x slow motion or 5.6K60 at 2x slow motion. MotionFrame lets you move your phone to keyframe shots directly, while CameraFX adds dynamic effects like Spin, Flip, Roll, Wobble, and Tiny Planet. TimeWarp, Time-Lapse, and Night-Lapse speed up time in smooth 8K resolution, and night modes allow creative light painting with natural or artificial illumination. Scheduled Capture can power the camera on and record up to 24 hours in advance.

Record 4K60 single-lens video using either the front or back lens, with a 180 Max HyperView digital lens for ultra-wide GoPro-style footage. Additional lens options include Linear, Wide, Ultra Wide, and Max SuperView. Max HyperSmooth stabilization keeps footage steady during intense action, and Horizon Lock maintains a perfectly straight horizon even when the camera flips completely upside down.

Spherical audio is captured with six microphones for fully immersive 360 degrees surround sound. In single-lens mode, Audio Field of View focuses the sound to match what the camera sees. Files can be transferred via Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, or USB-C, and unlimited cloud storage with auto-upload keeps everything backed up.

The MAX2 includes a high-performance 1960mAh Enduro battery, two protective lens caps, a curved adhesive mount, mounting buckle, and USB-C cable. Record directly to an SD card via the built-in slot, and use the 1/4"-20 mounting thread to attach extension poles, which disappear in 360 footage for immersive third-person POV shots. Fold out the built-in mounting fingers for 3-prong mounts, or use the separately sold Magnetic Latch Mount for quick release between setups. Waterproof to 16.4 feet, the MAX2 withstands splashes and light submersion. Its touchscreen allows easy operation, and hands-free control is possible with 13 voice commands in over 11 languages and six accents.
