Sony DVF-EL1 Detachable Tilt-Type OLED Viewfinder

The detachable DVF-EL1 OLED Viewfinder is designed to provide precise focus and exposure monitoring, even in bright outdoor conditions, helping photographers compose and capture images with confidence. Featuring a removable tilt-style design, it allows accurate evaluation of composition, focus, and exposure through a high-resolution 0.58-inch OLED panel with approximately 7.07 million dots. The viewfinder supports a wide DCI-P3-equivalent colour gamut, 10-bit display output, and HDR monitoring, delivering exceptional detail and rich, lifelike colour reproduction.

With magnification options of up to 0.90x, the viewfinder can be tailored to different shooting preferences. The VF Magnification setting offers a choice between Standard and Zoom Out modes, allowing users to prioritize either maximum resolution or enhanced visibility depending on the situation. This flexibility makes it well suited to a variety of shooting styles, including low-angle and high-angle compositions.

The integrated vertical tilt mechanism adjusts from 0 to approximately 90 degrees upward, providing greater comfort and versatility when framing shots. Its detachable eyepiece cup can be reversed from left to right to accommodate different shooting positions, while removing the cup enables the eye to sit closer to the eyepoint for a more comfortable viewing experience, even when wearing glasses.

For added convenience, the protective cap covering the camera's VF terminal can be stored directly inside the OLED Viewfinder body when not in use. This thoughtful design helps prevent the cap from being misplaced while making setup and storage more efficient.
