Manfrotto MVH500AH Fluid Video Head

The MVH500AH Fluid Video Head with Flat Base by Manfrotto features a wide platform that is well-suited for HDSLR camera bodies. Designed for smooth and accurate movement, it supports a maximum load of 17.6 pounds and uses professional-grade fluid cartridges on both pan and tilt axes. It includes a pre-set spring-loaded counterbalance of 5.3 pounds, a lateral tilt range from minus 70 to plus 90 degrees, and full 360-degree panning capability.

The side lock system makes mounting faster and safer by allowing the camera and quick release plate to snap in from above rather than sliding in from the back. The head connects to a tripod with a three-eighths sixteen thread and comes with a 500PLONG sliding plate, which includes a captive quarter-twenty tie-down screw and a three-eighths sixteen adapter bushing. An Easy Link three-eighths connector on the side lets you attach accessories like a monitor.
