Godox iT32 TTL Mini Flash

Combining TTL automation, full manual control, and stroboscopic flash support with Godox's built in 2.4 GHz X wireless system, the iT32 TTL Mini Flash is a compact lighting solution designed for flexible shooting setups when paired with a separately available X5 series unit. Users can select from X5C, X5N, X5F, X5O, or X5S versions to match Canon, Nikon, FUJIFILM, Olympus Panasonic, or Sony cameras, allowing a single iT32 flash body to be used across multiple systems by swapping hot shoe modules. Despite its small size, the flash offers a wide power range from 1 over 128 to full output with fine adjustment steps, fast 1.5 second recycling, high speed sync support, a responsive color touchscreen, and a built in LED modeling light. Power is supplied by an internal USB C rechargeable battery capable of delivering up to 510 full power flashes, all within a lightweight body weighing just 6 ounces.

The iT32 is designed for seamless transitions between on camera and off camera use, as well as more advanced multi light arrangements, thanks to its magnetic modular design, cross brand compatibility, and integrated Godox X wireless communication. It supports automatic, manual, and multi flash modes, along with high speed sync, first and second curtain sync, and flash exposure compensation. TTL functionality simplifies exposure by automatically balancing flash output to evenly light both subject and background. The unit also features Wi Off, Sender, and Receiver modes when used with the optional X5 module, expanding its flexibility within wireless lighting setups.

Attaching the optional X5 module is quick and intuitive, as it magnetically aligns with the bottom of the iT32 and snaps into place for a secure connection. Once attached, the locking ring allows the X5 to be mounted into the camera hot shoe, creating a stable on camera configuration. In this setup, the X5 functions as the hot shoe interface for direct flash use. When removed, it automatically switches into trigger mode, enabling wireless control of the iT32 and other compatible flashes without additional setup.

With the X5 mounted separately on the camera, users can wirelessly adjust selected settings from distances up to 65.6 feet. When the iT32 and X5 are used together as a combined unit, they can also act as a master controller to trigger additional Godox flashes at distances up to 262.4 feet, increasing creative flexibility in larger lighting arrangements. Even when separated, the X5 remains capable of controlling the iT32 and other units within the Godox X wireless ecosystem.

Operation is streamlined through an intuitive touchscreen interface and simplified physical controls, making adjustments quick and straightforward. The integrated LED modeling light offers adjustable brightness levels from 1 to 10, providing a helpful preview of lighting direction and intensity. Charging the internal battery takes approximately one hour and ten minutes using the included USB C cable.

Physically, the flash measures approximately 4 by 2.2 by 1.5 inches and includes a transparent wide angle diffuser along with a white catchlight panel for additional light shaping options. A built in optical slave sensor and sync port are included for broader compatibility, while the USB C port is used for both charging and firmware updates. Supplied accessories include a USB C charging cable, a magnetic mini stand, a diffuser, two magnetic color filters, and a compact storage pouch.

The iT32 automatically recognizes which optional X5 version is attached and displays battery status through a clear indicator. It offers a guide number of 59 feet at ISO 100, flash durations ranging from 1 over 1000 to 1 over 30000 second, and precise power control in one third stop increments. Flash exposure compensation is adjustable from minus 3 to plus 3 stops, and S1 and S2 optical modes are supported. Stroboscopic mode allows up to 100 flashes per burst with output levels from 1 over 128 to 1 over 4, while additional features include TCM conversion in Wi Off mode, standby and auto power off settings, and built in over temperature protection. Global shutter sync capabilities are available when paired with the optional X5S model, while certain functions such as high speed sync and second curtain sync may vary depending on camera compatibility. The flash is also compatible with optional X2T, XPro II, and X3 series triggers, as well as Godox's MA02 magnetic accessory system.
