Sony VG-C5 Vertical Grip for A9 III

Designed for use with the Sony a9 III mirrorless camera, the VG-C5 Vertical Grip enhances shooting in the vertical orientation by offering extended battery life and a more ergonomic grip. It accommodates either one or two NP-FZ100 batteries, effectively prolonging the camera's battery life for extended shooting sessions. The batteries can be conveniently charged within the grip while attached to the camera via the body's USB port. Compared to previous vertical grips, the VG-C5 features advanced circuitry that supports parallel power supply, resulting in even longer effective operation times. Additionally, the camera display indicates the remaining battery life for both batteries.

The grip maintains the same layout as the camera body, featuring a secondary shutter button, Multi-Selector for intuitive use, and a secondary C5 front custom button. Constructed from magnesium alloy, the grip is dust and moisture resistant, aligning with the weather-sealing of the camera itself.
