For the first time in the X-S series, the 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor is paired with the X-Processor 5 imaging engine. This combination delivers high-speed image and video processing, enhanced autofocus speed and accuracy, FUJIFILM's renowned color science, and five-axis in-body image stabilization up to seven stops. The X-S20 shines in video production, featuring a Vlog mode for professional-quality footage with easy touchscreen adjustments while recording. The Product Priority and Background Defocus modes optimize the autofocus for content creation. Two 3.5mm jacks, one for an external microphone and one for headphones, provide high-quality audio to match the camera's stunning visuals. Streaming in 4K at 60 fps and Full HD via a USB-C port ensures top-tier broadcasting, while the micro-HDMI output allows for recording raw video on external devices.

The X-S20 also features an intuitive design focused on seamless handling and shooting efficiency. It includes larger dials and more prominent buttons for easy operation. The camera is equipped with a bright 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder and a 3.0" 1.84m-dot vari-angle touchscreen LCD, ideal for shooting from high, low, and front-facing angles. A USB-C connector allows for tethering and other digital interfacing, while both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connections are supported. The proprietary FUJIFILM XApp can be used to view and transfer images, access the camera's Live View, and operate it remotely. The rechargeable lithium-ion NP-W235 battery ensures longer shooting times, enhanced by the processor's increased efficiency.
