M/MD Minolta Auto Zoom 50-100mm F3.5 (BGN) Used

Before every brand had zoom lenses that rivaled all but the absolute best quality primes, zooms were typically seen is inferior in practically every way to prime lenses. This Minolta 50-100mm F3.5 is no exception to that rule but it is an interesting and uncommon lens. It has a fairly short zoom range, a decently fast aperture, a minimum focusing distance of two meters, and it's not parfocal meaning you'll have to refocus the lenses every time you change the zoom. It also won't communicate with the meter in your camera as Minoltas didn't have internal meters when this lens was new. It's a quirky old lens, what more could you want?
