It offers an 84.1 degree field of view on full frame cameras and 61.8 degree on APS C, with hybrid aspherical elements that deliver sharp images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberration. The lens focuses as close as 9.8 inches, and a removable petal shaped lens hood provides flare protection when shooting without a matte box, while the front accepts 77 millimeter filters. Extra low dispersion glass reduces chromatic aberration and enhances contrast and color saturation.
