Kodak Professional Rapid Selenium Toner is a time-tested solution for altering the appearance and tone of prints while enhancing their longevity and archival quality. It works well with both resin-coated and fiber-based black-and-white papers, and its effects differ based on the paper type, tone, surface texture, and dilution of the toner. When applied to warm-tone papers, it creates cool, chocolate-brown tones; on neutral-tone papers, it yields purplish-brown hues; and with cool-tone papers, it typically results in minimal color change. This toner also increases the perceived Dmax of prints, enriching the tonal range in shadow areas. Additionally, it can be used with black-and-white films, transforming the silver image into silver selenide for greater durability and slightly improved contrast.

This product comes in a 32 oz bottle of liquid toner, which can be diluted to varying concentrations depending on the desired application and paper type.
