Harman Red ISO 125 Redscale 120 Colour Film (C-41)

Created specifically for redscale photography lovers, HARMAN Red 125 is a 120 medium format film that captures vivid detail while producing intense red, orange, and yellow hues. Images are exposed through the film's base and red-sensitive layer, eliminating most blue tones and resulting in rich shadows with striking warmth. With a medium ISO speed of 125, a clear base, no anti-halation layer, and high red sensitivity, this film delivers a reliable and well-balanced emulsion with minimal speed loss.

The film responds distinctly to exposure levels. Overexposing typically results in finer grain and bold red and orange tones. Underexposing produces coarser grain, deeper shadows, and subtle green hues. Normal exposure yields a balanced result with typical grain, vibrant orange, and softer shadows. For development, HARMAN Red is compatible with standard C41 or CN16 chemistry, and there's no need to adjust processing for bracketed exposures.

Unlike conventional color films, redscale films have the emulsion layer on the reverse side. For best results, especially with reloadable cartridges, the emulsion orientation should be correctly aligned. The film scans easily with most commercial scanners, and digital corrections during scanning can automatically remove dust and scratches, enhancing the final image.
