ADOX HR-50 is built on a proven emulsion originally designed for technical use, delivering ultrafine grain, outstanding sharpness, very high resolution, and a broad superpanchromatic sensitivity. With ADOX?s innovative SPEED BOOST technology, the film?s speed is raised to ISO 50/18 while its gamma is reduced to make it ideal for creative photography in standard developers. For best results ADOX also provides a dedicated HR-DEV developer specially optimized for this film.
Well suited for landscapes, architectural scenes, cityscapes, and travel photography, ADOX HR-50 combines superb resolution with extremely fine grain. Among today?s black and white negative films only ADOX CMS 20 II surpasses it in grain fineness. For portrait work the HR-DEV developer or ADOX FX-39 II is recommended to achieve excellent tonal results.
