It features a specialized premoval process that eliminates the traditional anti-halation rem-jet layer, allowing it to be developed using standard C-41 chemistry or the motion picture ECN-2 process. As a high-speed color negative film balanced for tungsten, incandescent, and fluorescent lighting, it offers a nominal sensitivity of ISO 800/30. When shooting in daylight, using an 85B filter and rating the film at ISO 500 produces accurate results. Its fast speed makes it an excellent choice for low-light and indoor photography, with the flexibility to push up to three stops. CineStill 800T delivers a distinctive halation effect that creates glowing highlights from bright light sources. Designed for hybrid workflows, the emulsion scans beautifully and responds well to push processing up to ISO 3200. Recommended exposure settings include ISO 800 for normal development (EI 200–1600), ISO 1250 for a one-stop push (EI 800–2000), ISO 1600 for a two-stop push (EI 1250–3200), and ISO 3200 for a three-stop push (EI 1600–3200) with enhanced contrast.
