The formfitting design preserves access to all controls, the battery, and SD card slots, and the camera attaches to the cage with three screws to eliminate twisting. A screen protector is included to help guard the rear display from scratches. The cage provides an integrated cold shoe, a side NATO rail, numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, and ARRI-style locating holes that keep mounted accessories securely in place. Additional features include a QD socket and strap slots for carrying options, as well as a built-in Arca-type quick release plate on the bottom for easy tripod use.
