The DJI Osmo Mobile 8 Smartphone Gimbal provides smooth, stabilized footage while precisely tracking your subjects. This updated gimbal features a Multifunctional Module and advanced ActiveTrack 7.0 technology, making it easy to follow humans and pets with accuracy. It includes a magnetic phone clamp that supports smartphones up to 3.3 inches wide, a built-in extension arm and tripod, and a USB-C output for charging your camera. The gimbal also supports Apple DockKit for direct iPhone connection and offers a counterweight mounting hole for additional accessories. Setup is quick - simply unfold the device, attach your phone with the magnetic clamp, and the intelligent sensor automatically balances the gimbal. The enhanced clamp works with phones up to 10.6 ounces, even with cases, while iPhone users can opt for the DJI OM Magnetic quick release mount for faster attachment.

The Multifunctional Module allows tracking in your native camera or third-party apps without needing the Mimo app. It also adds gesture control and a built-in fill light with eight brightness levels and adjustable color temperature. Bluetooth connectivity enables pairing with up to two DJI Mic 3, Mic 2, or Mini transmitters directly to the gimbal. Gesture commands make operation simple - show your palm to start or stop tracking, make a "V" to take a photo or start recording, or use a double "L" gesture to reframe. ActiveTrack 7.0 provides enhanced stability and tracking performance, automatically recognizing and following body shapes even when the subject temporarily exits the frame. Integrated controls include a joystick, side wheel, and trigger button for camera switching, along with a system indicator that shows battery and mode status. The gimbal offers a 360 degree panning range with a control speed of 120 degrees per second. Powered by a rechargeable battery, it runs up to 10 hours on a full charge and recharges in 2.5 hours via USB-C. With tracking enabled, battery life extends to five hours, and four hours with the fill light at full brightness. The USB-C port can also charge your smartphone when the gimbal is powered off.

Creative shooting options include Time-Lapse, Motion-Lapse, and Hyper-Lapse modes for dynamic time manipulation, as well as three panorama options and cinematic tools like DynamicZoom. The built-in fill light on the Multifunctional Module enhances visibility in low light with eight brightness and color temperature adjustments controlled by the side wheel. Compatible with both iOS and Android, the DJI Mimo app powers ActiveTrack 7.0 and adds AI-driven one-tap editing, ShotGuides with tutorial-based shooting suggestions, and support for Apple Watch control to monitor your camera feed, operate the gimbal, and enable ActiveTrack remotely.
