Atomos CONNECT Network, Wireless & SDI Expansion Module

The Atomos CONNECT expands the video and network capabilities of the Ninja V and Ninja V+ monitors with a slim design that attaches securely to the back of the monitor using two screws. It adds a 12G-SDI input along with antennas for Wi-Fi 6, and also supports Bluetooth LE and Gigabit Ethernet through its integrated LAN port, making it possible to stream directly to video switchers, additional displays, or online destinations such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch. With the Camera to Cloud workflow, proxy files and full-resolution footage can be uploaded while enabling real-time collaboration through Frame.io, Dropbox, or Sony Ci media. Atomos Cloud Studio further enhances streaming by allowing compatible devices to broadcast live to major platforms or custom RTMP/S servers.

Remote configuration is made simple with the AtomRemote app for iOS and macOS, letting users adjust settings up to 49.2 feet away using Bluetooth LE. Functions include managing camera connections, selecting Gamma/EOTF, adjusting Gamut, controlling playback, and accessing input monitoring tools. Video output can be fine-tuned by setting resolution, LUT previews, and HDR formats. AirGlu wireless timecode ensures seamless synchronization between connected cameras and provides integration across multiple devices, while also sharing relay recording, battery status, and storage capacity information with other AirGlu-enabled equipment.

Dual recording capabilities allow the CONNECT to create both a main Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR/HD file and an HEVC H.265 proxy recording with identical timecode and metadata, which can then be uploaded for immediate cloud collaboration. This enables team members to review proxy clips remotely via Frame.io while editors begin cutting with aligned material. Designed to complement the Ninja V and Ninja V+ without adding unnecessary bulk, the CONNECT maintains a compact profile and is powered through an L-series battery slot for convenience in professional workflows.
