VisibleDust Quasar R 5x Sensor Loupe Magnifier

The Quasar R 5x Sensor Loupe Magnifier from VisibleDust is designed to help photographers locate dust and particles on their camera’s image sensor with precision and clarity. It features an extra-low dispersion glass element with a magnesium fluoride coating that minimizes chromatic aberrations and delivers a sharp, clear view. With 5x magnification and a total of 14 LEDs—seven white and seven red—the loupe provides detailed visibility under various lighting conditions. The red LEDs use Dark Adaptation Technology, which helps maintain night vision by using wavelengths that support visual acuity in low light. After allowing your eyes to adjust by sitting in the dark for a minute and then using the red lights, you can inspect your sensor while your pupils stay dilated, increasing the chance of spotting fine debris.

VisibleDust also uses the term Bright Vue technology to describe how the vari-angled LEDs create a three-dimensional view of the sensor, making it easier to detect even the smallest particles. The loupe includes a 67mm metal ring that allows for the addition of optional accessories such as filters, close-up lenses, extension tubes, or hoods to further enhance visibility. Power is supplied by two included CR2032 lithium batteries. For safe storage and portability, the loupe comes with a durable, foam-filled hard case.
