A smartly designed tool created to make image-making more accessible, the 24.6MP full-frame Sigma BF Mirrorless Camera redefines the high-end camera interface with simplicity and ease of use in mind. Featuring an L-mount and hybrid autofocus system, the BF also delivers impressive 6K video, making it capable of producing top-tier visuals on demand.

The Sigma BF represents a shift in mirrorless camera development. Every aspect of the interface - from the camera body to the screen - has been rethought to remove friction from the creative process, enabling photographers to focus entirely on the moments they're capturing.

The main control hub is the rear touchscreen, redesigned to minimize distractions. Core settings - shutter speed, aperture, ISO, EV compensation, and color profiles - are easily accessed here. The live-view is optimized to help photographers maintain focus on their subject, while a small top display above the rear dial shows key shooting information. All other settings are quickly accessible through three simplified menu pages.

Physically, the Sigma BF reduces manual controls to just three main buttons: a control dial, shutter button, and power switch. A rear navigation pad offers further control, all using haptic, pressure-sensitive feedback for a tactile shooting experience. The camera's innovative unibody design - machined from a single block of aluminum - provides uniform weight and balance. A sculpted thumb grip adds essential ergonomic comfort.

At its core is a 24.6MP full-frame BSI CMOS sensor that powers its professional-level performance. It supports wide dynamic range, native ISO from 100-102400 (with a low setting of ISO 6), and produces excellent results in low-light and shallow depth-of-field scenarios. It supports up to 8 fps burst shooting and captures both 14-bit DNG lossless RAW and JPEG files. Fast, accurate focus is handled by a hybrid system combining phase and contrast detection. Optional wired remote triggering is available with the CR-51 cable release.

A standout feature is the internal 230GB memory, capable of storing over 14,000 JPEGs, 4,300 RAWs, or 2.5 hours of video. Data can also be transferred externally via a USB-C port at up to 10 Gb/s.

Video can be recorded at 6K 30 fps or up to 120 fps in Full HD. The BF also supports L-Log for grading, HVEC encoding, and electronic image stabilization for smoother footage. One battery charge supports continuous recording for an hour. The built-in stereo mic captures audio clearly, with support for external mic and headphone use. Through its USB-C terminal, the BF can also output video and function as a webcam.

As part of the L-Mount Alliance, the Sigma BF uses an L-mount compatible with an extensive range of lenses from Sigma, Panasonic, and Leica.

The camera includes 13 creative Color Modes, letting users apply stylistic looks to their shots. These include: Standard, Rich, Calm, Powder Blue, Warm Gold, Teal and Orange, FOV Classic Blue, FOV Classic Yellow, Forest Green, Sunset Red, Cinema, 709 Look, and Monochrome.
