Peak Design Everyday Backpack (Kelp, 30L)

The 30L Everyday Backpack from Peak Design is a versatile, size-adjustable, and compressible bag designed for photographers, multimedia creators, or anyone who needs a highly adaptable pack. Multiple magnetic latches on the top flap allow you to change the pack’s height from 20.4 to 24.5 inches, while three interior FlexFold dividers let you stack gear in the main compartment and configure foldout surfaces to cushion and hold items against the zippered side openings. These side openings face upward when the bag is rotated from back to front, providing fast access to selected items. Inside, a zippered sleeve includes dedicated pockets for a 16-inch laptop, a 12.9-inch tablet, chargers, and cables, while additional slip and zippered pockets in the side openings organize batteries, memory cards, and small personal items. The exterior of each side opening holds a large stretch pocket for a water bottle, tripod, or umbrella, along with carry straps and gear loops. Long straps and extra gear loops on the front panel allow you to secure bulky gear or packable clothing, and items can also be strapped to the bottom of the pack.

For carrying, the backpack features wide built-in top and side handles, adjustable shoulder straps that pivot for comfort, a quick-connecting sternum strap for weight distribution, and an optional waist belt for added stability on rough terrain. The shoulder straps can be magnetically secured against the rear panel when not in use, and a trolley sleeve allows the pack to attach to rolling luggage. Made from durable, weather-resistant nylon with a waterproof bottom panel, the bag provides reliable protection, while the elevated rear panel promotes airflow to reduce heat buildup. The main compartment can be accessed from the top flap or through weather-resistant side zippers, which have large lockable pulls for extra security.
