Arca-Swiss C1 Cube GP (Geared Panning) Classic Head
The Arca-Swiss C1 Cube with Arca Classic Quick Release and GP (Geared Panning) is a precision-engineered three-axis panoramic head with an impressive 88 lb load capacity, ideal for supporting the heaviest camera setups with exceptional stability. It offers finely tuned geared panning adjustments for exact positioning. Two panoramic axes let you first align the Cube's controls with your stance using the lower axis, then center the camera forward with the upper one. Rubberized gear knobs allow for precise control - even with gloves - without blocking movement. The base tilts up to 62 degrees, enabling most cameras to achieve a full 90 degree vertical tilt. The top platform includes two bubble levels and a Classic-style quick release clamp with geared panning functionality.
While it's compatible with many setups, the Cube truly shines in studio and architectural photography, where pinpoint accuracy is essential. It's also excellent for macro work, minimizing the need to refocus between shots. Its innovative design positions the camera as if it's centered within a sphere, allowing it to rotate around a fixed image plane. This minimizes shifts in the entrance pupil during adjustments, reducing the need for constant height and focus changes. The top geared panning platform offers a full 360 degree rotation with a numbered scale, delivering consistent, repeatable positioning.
