Arca-Swiss Monoball P0+Hybrid Classic Head

The Monoball P0+Hybrid Classic from Arca Swiss is a distinctive ball head featuring a minimalist design focused on portability, ease of use, and performance. Its inverted, aspheric-shaped ball increases resistance as the camera tilts further from the horizontal, stabilizing heavy cameras or long telephoto lenses. The highly visible knurled collar easily locks the camera securely in place, eliminating the need for a hidden locking knob. The innovative design eliminates the need for lubricating grease, which can cause "head creep" and potentially lead to a tipping tripod.

The P0+ includes two self-locking geared leveling mechanisms, adjustable by up to 10 degrees, positioned at right angles on the x-axis and y-axis. This allows for quick leveling without adjusting the tripod legs. Additionally, the P0+ features four locking points in the panorama swivel for fine-tuning adjustments at precise 90 degree angles.

Inside the head, three locking "planets" evenly clamp around the ball, ensuring smooth camera movements in any direction. The inverted ball design keeps the camera’s center of gravity closer to the ball’s center for better stability. The P0+ offers 90 degrees of tilt, and its panning system, positioned directly beneath the camera, ensures the panning motion stays aligned with the camera without deviation.
