It’s also practical, featuring a user-replaceable flashtube and a fully adjustable bi-color LED modeling lamp. Just like the elite Pro-D3, the D30 includes three flash modes - Eco, Boost, and Freeze - providing versatile performance options. Compact yet robust, the D30 is lightweight and travel-ready, making it easy to bring along anywhere there's access to AC power.

With an ultra-fast flash duration of 1/21,100 second in Freeze mode, the D30 captures motion with razor-sharp precision. Its lightning-quick recycling - down to 0.01 seconds - ensures reliable firing every time, with zero misfires. A wide 11-stop power range, adjustable in 0.1 f-stop increments, offers consistent control and fine-tuning for any setup. Built-in Profoto Air support enables wireless sync, TTL, HSS, and remote control, while the large, crystal-clear display ensures easy local adjustments.

The D30 is ideal for photographers using strobes in smaller or mid-size studios - but it's equally at home on location with access to mains power. The default Eco mode emphasizes color accuracy and long-term reliability. For extra output, Boost mode gives you the extra push you need. Freeze mode unlocks high-speed flash durations that freeze splashes, sprays, and other fast-moving elements for dramatic creative effects.

As expected from Profoto, the D30 offers user-friendly controls, a clear interface, and streamlined operation. Its impressive feature set includes high power, TTL capability, AirX connectivity, HSS, and an efficient bi-color LED modeling light.

The 35W LED modeling lamp features adjustable CCT from 2800K to 7000K to suit different lighting environments. It produces up to 1500 lux at 3.3', with a 63 degree beam angle and 105 degree field angle. With a maximum output of 3800 lumens, it offers dimming from 100% to 10% and boasts a CRI of 94 for excellent color rendering.

Full Air compatibility means you can connect to Profoto Air 1 and Air 2 remotes for TTL, sync, HSS, and remote control. The built-in Bluetooth also allows seamless integration with Profoto Camera and Profoto Control apps for wireless adjustments and firing.

When you invest in a D30, you unlock access to Profoto's wide range of modifiers. Its 100mm front mount fits over 120 accessories, and the sturdy design supports even the brand’s largest light shapers. The included stand adapter also integrates an umbrella mount for added flexibility.

Also available is the OCF Stand Adapter, a replacement for the standard one included with the D30. It has a 5/8" receiver and built-in umbrella slot, and pairs with the optional stand bracket to mount your D30 securely on any industry-standard 5/8" light stand.
