It offers a wide power range from 1/512 to full output, supports TTL across major camera brands including Canon, Nikon, FUJIFILM, Olympus, Sony, Leica, and Pentax, and provides fast recycle times of 0.1 to 1 second along with a freeze mode for action-stopping shots. Weighing 4.4 lb, it maintains portability while the bare flash tube, reflector, and detachable battery make it an excellent choice for on-location use.

The AD400Pro II outputs 400Ws across 10 steps of adjustment, from 1/1 to 1/512 in 0.1 increments, and its detachable lithium battery delivers up to 460 full-power flashes, an improvement over the previous generation. High-speed sync is supported up to 1/8000 sec, and the freeze mode allows flash durations ranging from 1/3470 to 1/27,770 sec, while normal flashes range from 1/230 to 1/16,120 sec. Control options include onboard adjustments or wireless operation through the built-in 2.4 GHz Godox X system, which provides a 328' range with 16 groups, 32 channels, and 99 IDs.
