The Godox Ving V480 TTL On-Camera Flash offers powerful lighting performance in a compact and portable design, integrating the 2.4 GHz X wireless system and TTL auto flash capabilities. Compatible with TTL, this flash also supports manual operation, multi-stroboscopic bursts, high-speed sync, and second curtain sync. Positioned as a mid-size option, the V480 sits between the larger V860III and smaller V350 models, offering a balanced mix of power and portability. A built-in LED modeling light provides added flexibility during setup, while the flash head tilts from -7 to 120 degrees and rotates 330 degrees to control the direction and bounce of light. Powered by a rechargeable lithium battery, it delivers a recycling time of 1.7 seconds and up to 650 full-power flashes per charge. The flash includes a removable battery, USB-C cable, power adapter, mini stand, and pouch.

Designed for versatility, the V480 supports TTL systems and features a guide number of 164 feet at ISO 100, flash durations from 1/600 to 1/20000 second, and output adjustment from 1/256 to full power. The zoom head covers a range of 24 to 105mm, with both auto and manual operation, a catchlight panel, and a built-in wide-angle diffuser. The Godox 2.4 GHz X wireless system enables advanced remote triggering with a range of up to 328 feet, compatible with XPro II, X2, and X3 transmitters. Users can assign the flash to any of 32 channels and five groups for more complex lighting setups.

The included 7.2V 2200mAh lithium battery supports rapid recycling and long shoots, with all necessary charging accessories provided. A user-friendly design features a 2-inch touchscreen for easy access to settings, and an LCD panel clearly displays battery level and other important information. The V480 maintains stable brightness and color output during high-speed bursts and includes a 2W adjustable LED modeling light with a color temperature of 5300K, plus or minus 300K.

Firmware updates can be installed via the USB-C port, ensuring continued compatibility with new camera models. Additional features include support for first and second curtain sync, multi-mode flash firing up to 100 times at 100 Hz, flash exposure compensation in third-stop increments, a TCM converter, Wi-off mode, screen lock, standby, power switch, auto-off, and hot shoe connectivity. A 2.5mm sync jack allows for wired triggering, and overheating protection is built in. The unit remains lightweight at just 12.7 ounces with the battery installed.
