The Insta360 X6 Water Sports Rope Mount is designed to securely attach your camera to ropes and lines with diameters ranging from 1mm to 8mm, making it ideal for capturing dynamic water sports footage. Before use, ensure the rope or line is in good condition and strong enough to meet the requirements of your activity.

For safe operation, carefully follow the camera's waterproofing guidelines and make sure the battery and USB covers are fully closed before entering the water. Keep in mind that strong impacts, vibrations, or pressure may affect the camera's waterproof performance.

When kitesurfing, follow the recommended mounting instructions and ensure the safety line is not secured using thumb screws. For the best results, position the mount approximately 20-30cm from the rope knot. If the lines are spaced too far apart, proper installation may not be possible. Mount placement should also avoid areas where ropes are likely to become tangled, as this can interfere with control. Should entanglement occur, stop kitesurfing immediately.

When attaching the mount, open the tow-rope buckles gently and avoid forcing them beyond their intended range. For surfing, removing any Lens Guards is recommended to help prevent water buildup or fogging that could affect image quality. Throughout use, take care to protect the camera lenses from impacts and scratches to maintain optimal performance and image clarity.
