Voigtlander 35 F2 APO-Ultron DX Nikon Z

Large-aperture, compact standard macro. The MACRO APO-ULTRON D35mm F2 is an interchangeable lens for APS-C size (Nikon DX format) mirrorless cameras with the Nikon Z mount created by Voigtlander.

The lens is equipped with electronic contacts which communicate data between the lens and the body. In addition to Exif information and in-body image stabilization (3 axes), by combining with a camera body feature and the latest firmware, the lens has three types of focusing support functions:

• Focusing by color changing of the focus point frame,
• Peaking function focusing, and
• Focusing with the enlargement button

The lens has a maximum aperture of F2, an exceptionally large aperture for a macro lens, yet it remains compact in size. This special manual focus method enables the lens to shorten the lens extension, compared to the method of extending the entire optical system, while at the same time ensuring stable image quality from long distance to extremely close.

This all-metal design combines a beautiful appearance, reminiscent of the good old days, with functionality that enhances manual operation. The all-metal helicoid ring provides a silky smooth focusing feel.

In addition to the shallow focusing effect of close-up photography, the large bokeh effect, characteristic of large-aperture macro photography expands the possibilities for photography.

This lens is recommended not only for macro photography, but also for table photography, portraits, and landscapes, as it offers image quality that can be used with confidence regardless of the distance to the subject. A compact, straight-type dedicated screw-in hood is included.
