Sun & Starlight Adventure with Monika Deviat & McBain WORKSHOP
Adventure to the Rock Mountains with award-winning photographer Monika Deviat and McBain! Together, we'll explore Banff National Park in a dynamic and collaborative workshop experience filled with creative opportunities and one-on-one instruction. Join fellow enthusiastic photographers of all skill levels for an unforgettable weekend of building connections and community. You'll benefit from the expertise of an experienced instructor who will guide you through techniques, composition ideas, and creative processes. McBain staff members will provide technical support and sensor cleaning services throughout the weekend.
During this 3-day, 2-night workshop, we will venture into the Rockies in pursuit of picturesque sunrises and awe-inspiring nightscapes. We will arrive Friday, ready to seize as many photo opportunities as possible over the weekend, and depart on Sunday afternoon. Please note, these opportunities are weather-dependent. While we can't control the weather, we are committed to making the most of the time and scenery available, without compromising anyone's gear.
Here are some potential locales we might visit: Cascade Ponds, Vermillion Lakes, Lake Minnewanka, Two Jack Lake, Lake Louise, Herbert Lake, Peyto Lake, Bow Lake, Abraham Lake.
Attendees are responsible for arranging their transportation, accommodations, and food. Our base of operations will be the Lake Louise Inn, which is offering a special discounted lodging rate for McBain attendees. A booking link will be provided to registered participants, ensuring you have a comfortable and convenient stay.
